Dear IC Families,

We are beginning a new year full of hope and promise. We are excited about all the growth happening in our school. Our students are growing physically and academically. With professional development, our teachers are growing and applying best practices in the classroom and inspiring our future scientists, artists, and writers of the future. Our enrollment is slowly growing so we reach out for your help to promote our school.

Please share what’s going on in your child’s classroom or at our school. Please use social media for positive sharing. Share our posts on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Invite friends and family to celebrate Catholic Schools at our upcoming OPEN HOUSE on Sunday, January 29, following the 10:00 am mass.  Please send me positive reviews that we can add to our website.

Registration for 2017-2018 is quickly approaching. For our returning families to secure the 2016-2017 tuition rate, the family registration fee must be submitted by March. 17. If not, your tuition will be the new increased 2017-2018 tuition rate.

January is filled with a series of events. Next week some our students will attending a science camp. It will be an exciting and enriching experience.

Saturday, Jan. 21, is our Father/Daughter Night. All our girls may invite a guest to share this memorable evening with.  Invites are included in today’s envelope. RSVP as soon as possible.

Science fair projects are due Jan. 27 and will be displayed at our Open House.

Catholic Schools Week Kick-off begins on Jan. 29.  Join us for mass at 10AM followed by our school wide Open House. Visit our Science Fair. Visit our book Fair in the library. We are having a Winter Boutique and the Knights of Columbus will be cooking a Pancake breakfast.  Busy, busy day and we don’t want you to miss it. Please invite all friends and family to be part of the celebration.

Monte Carlo Casino Night is our major fundraiser of the year and every family is required to participate.  Each family has a responsibility to sell tickets, donate and volunteer. Please see enclosed flyers for more information. Order your pre-sale tickets, beverage tickets and raffle tickets. We need sponsors! Ask business owners and friends to sponsor our events. We will post their business names on our website and social media. We need auction items. Ask your hairdresser, barber, favorite restaurant, florist, gym, piano teacher, mani/pedi, masseuse, mechanic, car wash, movies etc. for donations. You never know who will say yes. Remind them that they are helping our students through their donations and we will be happy to post their businesses on our website.
