Kinder – 3rd (self-contained classes)
4th -7th (Elective Classes)
Monday, June 20th to Friday, July 15th (No class on July 4th) – Hours 8:00 – 11:30

TK Orientation:

All incoming Transitional Kindergarten Students are encouraged to attend this orientation. The students will meet new friends in a safe and nurturing environment. Through games, stories, songs, crafts and other activities, they will develop Reading and Math readiness skills.

Kindergarten – 3rd grades:

Students in these self- contained classes will be grouped by grade level. Students will have the opportunity to participate in fun, creative, and enriching academics. These classes are designed to help students improve Math, Reading, and Writing skills through individualized and small group’s instruction. The IMAGINATION STATION will also provide hands-on opportunities for science, fine arts, technology, and Spanish classes.

Grades 4-7

Students will rotate a variety of enrichment classes that will be fun and educational.

  • Reading Academy

    Topics include grade level comprehension, vocabulary, phonics and reading strategies.

Students will use a variety of literature to strengthen their reading skills.

  • Pre-AlgebraThis class will be an introduction to pre-algebra for students wishing to front load for this course or for those who simply need a review.
  • Kids are AuthorsStudents will engage in a study of popular picture books like Eric Carle and create their own version.
  • Creative CreationThis is a hands-on, minds-on class that will give students a chance to design a variety of creations and masterpieces.
  • Cooking is Child’s PlayThis class will teach students to create quick and easy recipes that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, as an appetizer, or shared for a family dinner. This class is for the make it yourself kid in your house.

 

DAY CAMP

Daily child care is provided at IC From 11:30 am to 6:00pm Children will enjoy their day through games, play walking field trips, friends, fun and much, much more.

  • $300 for summer school $200 for day care
  • Class size is limited so be sure to register early!
